As a marketing and events intern, I was in charge of developing marketing strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest — pitching and creating content on a weekly basis. In addition to social media, I assisted in planning 5+ company events through B2B email communications to secure event vendors and partnerships. Through my role, I effectively increased company awareness, engagement, and overall growth.


Completely built out and managed the company Pinterest account
Posted 5-10 times weekly highlighting company events and overall brand identity
Utilized SEO and trending tags to target specific customer segments and increase brand awareness
Organically grew monthly viewership on the platform by over 700% within 10 weeks
At biweekly company events, in addition to assisting in the event set-up and layout, I also captured social media content. Through live Instagram story postings, I posted 10-20 live stories during each event. I also gathered content to later create TikTok videos to recap the day.
